Meteor project visits San Jose

Here is our virtual display at he San Jose Tech Museum's Creative Engines exhibit and competition. I picked a spot with a nice view of the mountains. Maybe someone important will think this is a good idea!

Meteor crew says THANKS!

A big thanks to everyone who participated in the SL meteor experiment ... it was really fun and very informative. Who knew avatars would bring their own fire extinguishers! A special thanks to Matt Nelson at SFSU Housing whose help was invaluable.

We are compiling data from the survey, and will report the results in this space in a few days. Comments appreciated!

Meteor exercise needs your avatar TODAY!

We would very much appreciate the participation of Second Life avatars in a virtual news experiment to be held from 2 to 3 pm PST, TODAY, Friday, May 8. Please send an e-mail to Beth at gnusart@sbcglobal.net with your avatar's name if you are able to be in SL at that time. You will need to be given permission to teleport to the location. The text of the Chronicle story (page at left) that describes the meteor strike can be found at http://gnusart.com/meteor_story.htm.
Please read instructions in previous post.
